WorknSeek is a freelance platform—but with a twist. We've reimagined how workers and clients (we call them Seekers) connect, collaborate, and exchange services by building flexibility and personalization right into the core of the experience.

Our platform revolves around Presets, which store custom information based on the questions you've answered by selecting your specific role: WORKER, SEEKER, or TRADER. These Presets do more than just fill out your profile—they create sleek, informative listings that help each role judge whether someone is a good match. No more guessing what someone does or needs—Presets help everyone stay on the same page.

At the center of WorknSeek is the Queue, our modern take on the search-and-connect system. Instead of endlessly scrolling listings or bidding against the crowd, users are matched in real time based on compatibility. It's faster, more focused, and built to respect your time and skill.

How the Queue Works

Workers can instantly view a Seeker's Presets and requirements before committing, ensuring they only take on tasks they can complete.
Seekers can explore a Worker's listing and content, clearly seeing what is—and isn’t—included in a task.
Traders can connect with those who have content (finished or unfinished) and are open to exchange or collaboration.

What makes the Queue unique is how it levels the playing field:

New Workers can gain recognition without paid advertising.
Anyone can enter the Queue using the “1 Token Deal”, making services accessible and building credibility through verified reviews.
Workers earn reviews and unlock custom pricing within the Queue as they rise through the ranks.
Tips can be given at any time, even during 1 Token Deals, allowing Seekers to reward great work.
Offline matching lets Seekers match with Workers not currently online, keeping everyone productive.

Role-Based Experience

Upon signing up, new users are welcomed by three large buttons prompting them to choose a role: Worker, Seeker, or Trader. This choice leads to a set of tailored questions that generate Presets, which:

Build your public listing
Determine compatibility for Queue matching
Unlock access to the Task Hub and Queue

Each role benefits from its own optimized experience:

Workers may be required to upload an image and must participate in the 1 Token Deal to be featured in the Queue.
Seekers with incomplete projects (e.g. audio, video, images) can upload files directly to their listing.
Traders can locate and collaborate with users open to exchanges.

Worker Preference Sidebar

The Queue isn't just linear—it's smart. Seekers can filter Workers by their current review tier:

Grind: For those practicing or below 4 stars (hidden reviews, 1 token)
Rising: 0–11 reviews with visible ratings (2 tokens)
Established: 12–49 reviews with 4+ stars (10 tokens)
Top Rated: 50+ reviews with 4+ stars and access to custom pricing (Custom tokens)

Offline Worker Matching is also possible, where Seekers can submit a match request to a Worker who isn’t currently online. If the Worker is matched elsewhere first, the request disappears—keeping everything efficient and fair.

Task Hub

Not into real-time Queue matching? The Task Hub is your alternative:

Uses profile listings and discovery
Allows direct task requests to your inbox
Gives Seekers the ability to find you through direct profile links (ads, referrals, etc.)
Includes a Queue shortcut to instantly launch a preset-based match
Accepted tasks appear in your Active Messages and shift to "Finished" after completion
Manual search in the Task Hub is available with a subscription

Bypass the 3-denial Queue limit

Currency & Token System

WorknSeek operates on a single Token-based currency:

Tokens are purchased using local currency via Stripe Connect
Stripe fees are deducted before token totals are shown
Tokens can be withdrawn anytime, with a $1 fee collected by the site
All transactions, including escrow and tips, are securely tracked

The Escrow System holds tokens until work is confirmed complete. Tips are subject to a brief clearance period.

Direct Messaging

Once a task is accepted:

Both parties receive a summary and an active message thread
Seekers can tip for great work or bonus efforts
Messaging stays active through delivery, revision, and completion

We keep the experience clean, fast, and data-driven:

Queue timers, offline match prompts, and filter-broadening suggestions
Metrics dashboard showing live Queue stats, profile views, and category data
Image optimization (WebP, PNG, JPEG fallback)
Font consistency for pasted text
Auto-removal from the Queue on expiration
Confirmation modals to protect form progress

Built on Trust

Content is moderated automatically with tools like Google reCAPTCHA v3, blocking shady links, adult content, and abuse. All activity is monitored under our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Trust & Safety guidelines.
